Hands placing yarrow over ember-roasted roots beside a wood fire at the fictional Yarrow House
Yarrow House botanical mark

A small dining room shaped by valley, loom and flame.

Yarrow House

Yarrow House takes its name from a resilient valley herb — a marker of field edges, old paths and ground returning to life.

This fictional dining room belongs to the Upper Calder Valley: its woven histories, steep fields and close weather. The kitchen follows the same terrain, gathering what grows nearby and cooking it over the hearth with care and restraint.

Valley · Loom · Hearth

Grown close. Cooked by fire.

Yarrow House begins with valley growers and the rhythm of the hearth. Each menu follows what is gathered close by, while the room and table carry the woven local histories of the mills, families and hills around us.

A room made from what the valley already knows.

The room

A workshop, returned to gathering.

Inside a former weaving workshop, stone walls, long oak tables and cloth made up the valley hold the memory of making. Yarrow House brings the room back into use: a quiet place to eat close to the hearth, meet around one table and stay awhile.

People

A small team, close to the work.

Within this independent concept, Yarrow House is imagined as a close-knit kitchen and dining-room team working between hearth, field and table.

Cook, host and maker share responsibility for the room. No real staff, producer partnership or employment relationship is represented.
